Parking in most residential areas is unrestricted, but downtown Main Street has angled time-limited spaces, and we always check for event restrictions, especially during the October Pumpkin Festival when roads close and traffic multiplies. Highway 92 over the ridge is our main inland connection, and morning fog or curves can add time to the drive. Highway 1 moves slower with coastal traffic, particularly on summer and fall weekends. We build in buffer time and scout routes ahead. Older neighborhoods near downtown have narrow streets and limited turning space, so we bring our small truck when access is tight. Most properties are single-family homes, though newer condos occasionally request a Certificate of Insurance (COI), which we provide on request. Coastal weather occasionally brings Highway 1 closures or storm delays, and we monitor conditions before move day. We operate with one large truck and one small truck, no shuttle system, which keeps coordination simple. The work is patient and adaptable, and we adjust to whatever the coast demands.
